Day 1: Arrival in Madrid

On arrival at Madrid airport, meet a APJTours personnel and then transfer to the hotel in a luxury car.Situated on the banks of the Manzanares River, the capital of Spain – Madrid is the political, economic and cultural hub of the nation. A global city, Madrid still preserves it old charm, which can be seen in its historic streets and neighbourhoods. Being situated at an altitude of 667 m above sea level, the city experiences a Mediterranean climate. Every year, hordes of travellers come here to visit its famous attractions, such as Cibeles Palace and Fountain, Golden Triangle of Art and Royal Palace of Madrid, which still serves as the residence of the Spanish monarch.After reaching the hotel, check-in and relax. You can spend the rest of the day at in the hotel room or indulge in leisure activities. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Madrid

Meals: Breakfast

After a buffet breakfast, go on a private tour of the city of Madrid in a luxury vehicle.Start the tour by driving across the old part of the city and witness some historical structures. Thereafter, visit the most important place of interest in the city – the Royal Palace of Madrid. This 9th century fortress has 3418 rooms and has a floor space area of 135000 sq m. Then, head towards the beautiful Sabatini Gardens, part of the Royal Palace. These gardens have been built in neoclassical architectural style, featuring fountains, statues, a pool and beautifully maintained lawns and hedges.Afterwards, proceed towards Campo del Moro, which is located between the Manzanares River and the Royal Palace. It was the camp base of the Moorish army that had come to take possession of Madrid in the 12th century. The place was converted in to a public park in the 19th century.Thereafter, pay a visit to The Royal Basilica of San Francisco el Grande. Built in the latter part of the 18th century, this Roman Catholic Church has a neoclassic architecture. At one point in history, the church housed the remains of the famous artists and politicians of Spain.Later, visit Paseo del Prado, a prominent boulevard in the city. Here, you can see some beautiful fountains. Then, proceed towards the Toledo Bridge, a wonderful piece of architecture, designed by Pedro Ribera. The bridge was constructed between 1718 and 1727.Thereafter, visit the Prado Museum, one of the top art galleries in Europe. This museum showcases artworks of some of the renowned artists including Rubens, Bosch, Raphael and Goya. Afterwards, proceed towards Puerta de Alcalá, which is a spectacular neoclassic monument that lies in the central part of the city.Later, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Madrid to Valencia

Soon after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer on your own towards the Madrid train station, from where you will board the train to the city of Valencia.A global city, Valencia was founded in the year 138 BC as a Roman colony. Located on the banks of Turia River, it is the third-largest city in Spain. The city experiences a subtropical Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and mild winters. It is home to some of the top attractions of the country including Llotja de la Seda, Valencia Cathedral and City of Arts and Sciences.On reaching the hotel in Valencia, complete the check-in formalities and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Valencia

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Valencia. The best way for sightseeing in the city can be done with a 24-hour hop-on and hop-off bus. The bus drives past the old town, Turia River shore, Plaza de la Reina and the City of Arts and Sciences.

After the day-long excursion, come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Valencia to Barcelona

After a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, transfer on your own to the train station of Valencia, from where you will catch a train to Barcelona.The second largest city of the country, Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, which is an autonomous community. It is located in the north-eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. Home to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as Casa Vicens, Casa Batlló, Palau Guell, and Park Güell, the city is thronged by visitors from across the globe, each year.After reaching at the hotel in Barcelona, complete the check-in formalities and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel room.

Day 6: Sightseeing in Barcelona

Meals: Breakfast

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, go on a private sightseeing tour of Barcelona in a luxury car.Start the sightseeing tour by a paying a visit to the famous Barcelona Cathedral, which is known for its Gothic and Gothic Revival architecture. Built between 13th and 15th centuries, this structure has a width of 40 metres, length of 90 metres and height of 53 metres.Afterwards, visit Sagrada Família, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Designed by architect Antoni Gaudi, this church is renowned for its facades, namely Nativity, Glory and Passion.Later, drive to the Olympic Village of Poblenou, which hosted the 1992 Summer Olympic Games. Thereafter, visit the beautifully designed Columbus Monument, which is dedicated to the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. This monument was built to honour the first voyage of Columbus to Americas.Later, visit the Montjuïc Mountain, which was traditionally used for cultivation and animal grazing. In the 1980s, forest areas in some parts of the hill were cleared out to create parklands. Thereafter, large-scale construction began here to host the 1929 International Exposition. Some of the buildings of that time can be still seen here, including the Olympic Stadium and Sant Jordi Palace.After the day-long excursion, come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 7: Departure from Barcelona

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards the airport to board your onward flight.
